  1. Before I read it, I assumed the first one was about eating. See where the runner’s mind went??? My tip…don’t eat other people’s food. At least, don’t eat all of it.

  2. I’m thinking the “Forever” was a Sandlot reference?? I remember the close-up on the kid’s mouth and he said forever over and over again, drawing it out, about the baseballs lost to The Beast. Am I right??? 🙂

    One thing I like to think about when I hit a rough patch or rut in my running is about why I started running in the first place. That always helps me get out of my funk and get back on track.

    One of the best ways I preserve my passion for running is by running races. I don’t go out for a PR for every race, and I know some folks think that’s a waste of an entry fee. But having a race, even a race that’s for fun and just for the race experience, on my calendar keeps me excited about lacing up every day.
