I get errors at the gym all the time. Most of the machines just say “PLEASE STOP!” if you’re going too fast. When a machine is broken, the gym puts a sign on it that says “This machine is out of shape.” So lame.
I am a fast walker. I HATE when people in front of me are walking as slow as ever and I can’t get around them. Frustrates the heck out of me!
I am proud of a recent 5K PR! I signed up for a few little races this year for fun and during a training run I finished in 23:33 but had to stop at a few stoplights along the way. I’m thinking it could have been under 23 minutes if the stoplights weren’t an issue. This is fast for me so I was happy 🙂
CONGRATS!!!! omg, i’m so sorry this reply is just WAY to late in coming, kinda a crazy weekend, but reading this put a huge smile on my face…PR’s always do that. 🙂 ya, ditch those meddling stoplights and i KNOW that busting 23 min’s is in ur future. 🙂 i am soooo going to be stalking u about ur progress though…just so ya kno. 😉
I haven’t gone to a gym before! But the worst kind of error message if there’s NO error message. That’s my computer. We have fun… bashing each other up. I’m a fast walker… and even faster cyclist– when I’m cycling on the road with cars whizzing past me. I get annoyed super easily by slow cyclists blocking my way and stuff. Must change! And be safer. 😀
haha…wanting to bash my computer, been there, wished i’d done that!! good luck my not happy techie friend. 🙂 haha…u should just mow over those slow cyclists that get in ur way. 🙂
So cool to head back to a 5k training group to remember what it was like in the beginning. I’m definitely a fast walker, and it annoys people I’m with!
What I’m proud of today: that I just ran 18 miles, woo-hoo!
🙂
