  1. Wooo St. Patty’s Day!! Okay so I will admit to not having been a huge fan of this holiday in the past, because everyone assumes that I’m Irish, but I’m totally not and I feel left out lol (I am 50% Scottish, but its NOT the same thing people!!) This year I didn’t do much since my USATF coaching certification was this weekend, but it was on a college campus so I got to see all the drunk kids wandering around hahahah. And I totally always make a wish at 11:11 too!!!!!! I also have a special/”lucky” coffee mug that I use on mornings when I’m really hoping for a good day haha. It has a rising sun painted on it, so I’m like “if I use this, then I will have a happy sunny positive day!” lol it really works too, if only cuz it puts me in the right mindset πŸ˜›

Also I’m totally about to email you cuz I really want a custom header design for my blog and I’d be honored to have it be your design!!

    • what, every fair skinned person isn’t irish?? πŸ˜‰ totally kidding!! haha. hey, hope that coaching certification finished up well and power to us 11:11 wishers! confession, i do it for pretty much any other time all the numbers are the same…lol.

yay!! totally can’t wait for u to email me, we’ll get u the best looking header ever! holla! πŸ™‚

  2. I ran my first half marathon on St. Patty’s day! It was fun πŸ™‚ I have lime green shoes and a green sports bra, so I wear those and was “in the spirit”. I hate doing plyo’s too – my rugby team makes us do them and I’m just like, NOT INTO IT. Happy belated St. Patrick’s day!

    • CONGRATS!!! so much fun on the race, and hey, even better it was free! πŸ™‚ okay, i may or may not want to sneak over and swipe all that lime green gear u have…tee hee. πŸ™‚

  3. Awesome! And i’ll celebrate york peppermint patty day, I love those little suckers!!!
    1) What did you/are you doing for St. Patty’s Day? I did…nothing! But i did manage to at least wear a little bit of green πŸ™‚ and I had roasted zucchini with dinner…

    2) What is your favorite St. Patty’s themed item? shamrocks! they’re so cute. and I love green things that are minty flavored!

    3) Do you believe in β€˜luck’ or do you have a lucky item/ritual? I don’t believe in luck per se. But I have items I like to keep around. Like touch stones! I wear the wing necklace my boyfriend gave me especially to auditions where I want extra “luck”

    4) Do you like potatoes? Are you a fan of corned beef and cabbage? How do you make sure you get enough iron? I LOVE potatoes. I don’t like beef or cabbage and to be honest I never really think about iron at all. Perhaps I should…

Hope you had a great St. Pattys day and that you got to eat your way out of a peppermint patty igloo!

    • “eat your way out of a peppermint patty igloo!” <--- okay, now u know i need to MAKE this a reality or at least a cartoon!!! love the mental picture!! πŸ™‚ oh and i love touch stones, and that wing necklace sounds beautiful, i wanna see a pic. πŸ™‚

  4. I completely forgot it was St. Patrick’s day yesterday until I saw my neighbors decorating their mailbox with green stuff. I didn’t put it together at first because they are Irish and do nutty stuff pretty often, but then I looked at the calendar. I guess having a toddler doesn’t blend well with drinking holidays πŸ™‚

    • hahaha!! okay, i love how u describe ur neighbors: “they are irish an do nutty stuff”…hehe. don’t feel bad, i’d prolly forget most holidays if it weren’t for FB or Twitter storms. πŸ˜›

  5. Happy (belated) St. Patty’s Day! I <3 potatoes and corned beef and beer, so this holiday is right up my alley.

Broccoli is a great source of iron, too! πŸ™‚
