  1. wish i was going to spectate! that would be amazing! can’t wait for the womens 10k, that’ll be an amazing race! i hate how it’s so difficult to catch running events like these on tv but every single major league baseball/football/basketball/hockey game is on. we will more then likely be snuggled up to our computer for the next several days watching the events unfold and some of these great athletes dreams begin to come true.

    • don’t even get me started on tv….i don’t want those stupid commercials to cut in during my fav. 25 lap events…let’s have commercial breaks during a million heats of the sprints! 😉 jk

  2. I’m definitely going to watch on TV but I bet it would be super cool to see this in real life! I met a guy who is going for the 1500 the other night at my running shoe store, he is a Newton representative and we all ran together, his name is Stephen Pifer. I’m glad the trials will be on TV, love seeing track on TV, and everything you said is so true for any runner competing, even in local races!

    • omg…i am so rooting for Stephen too!! i heard he and his beautiful family are moving to the east coast very soon, so is he running in ur parts??? so cool!!!

  4. I would love to be @Hayward!!! I am watching it on TV. I record it so I can watch it over and over. I’m excited to see lots of Oregon duckstry to make the US team(Jordan Hasay, alumni Aston Eaton, Galen Rupp), and of course I love Ryan Hall, Allison Felix, and S Flanagan. Its going to be exciting!!”
