  1. Great post again Cait! And great timing as always. I am just at the start of training for another race 🙂 This time I’m doing a 10k, but I’m hoping to finish in under an hour, which is something I’ve never managed before. There are fences in my mind that perhaps I cannot get faster and that I’m going to fail, but I’m knocking them down, focusing on my goal and just going for it.
Got the best runner chick blog to motivate me too 😉

    • CRUSH through those fences, and you KNOW this runnerchick is right here with a sledgehammer in hand too! 🙂 I’m sooo excited u’ve got your next big goal set…i know you can do it!!

  2. Ahhhh this post spoke to me, Cait! I deal with all of this ALL the time. I remember looking at my Garmin at my last couple of races thinking “how the heck am I going to keep up this pace for another x miles?!?!” It totally freaks me out when I think too much. I start to doubt myself and my abilities. The mind is a funny thing.

I definitely perform better when I run based on effort and let go of the “what if I can’t”…and most of the time I surprise myself! 🙂

    • thanks so much, Christina!! 🙂 you keep telling that doubter side of your brain to shut the heck up and bugger off cuz you’ve got BIG things to accomplish!!
