  1. I’m so excited for the Olympics but the trials have actually passed me by! I wonder if it’s a country-specific thing? I don’t know that they get much coverage here; Australia is big on swimming but the athletics events aren’t always as well featured (although in saying that, we do have some well known athletes in them, so they should be!). Or maybe it’s just me 😛

    • oh yea, the way Oly Trials work for each country is different, and in Aussie land i don’t think u guys have actual races dubbed the Oly Trials but ur athletes have to hit certain times and then a selection panel decides who makes the team. i WILL tell u that one ROCKING amazing Eloise Wellings is repping u guys over!! 🙂 sorry, she’s my friend so i am a wee bit partial. 😉

  2. Minimal distance for a real run for me… usually about 3 miles. I’m more of a shorter distance girl anyway, but I try to do at least 3 to make it worth my post-run shower, haha!

  3. I usually try for at least 40 min or 4 miles, unless I’m really recovering or something and/or trying to protect my body, then 30 min. So, I guess 3 miles, really.

    Was rooting for Steph last night (and Amy Hastings and Dathan). Rooting for Lauren Fleshman, Ben Bruce, Nick Symmonds, Andrew Wheating, Russell Brown, and Shannon Rowbury. I also like Alyson Felix – she just seems nice.
