  1. Oh Cait, I hope you are back racking up the miles soon! I will be sure to run harder tomorrow because you wish you could be and you are unable at the moment.
This weekend I am most looking forward to another challenging yoga class and another brownie for dessert tonight!
Get better soon my friend 🙂

  2. Hang in there!! I’ve been there many times and it sucks!!! I was at times a royal grump when I was injured.

I reckon focus on being the best you can be (minus the running part). Take the vitamins, calcium etc, work on your strength, cross train etc. And keep the faith- you’ll be back on the road soon 🙂

    • thanks so much for stopping by!! ya, cross-training saves me mentally, if i weren’t able to do anything at all, i would turn into a beast…hehe. 🙂

  3. Best stay happy thought: Well, at least I know I could do a triathlon now!! Haha but really, I know how to perk myself up with injuries – I know almost too well! One thing that helps is to remember that no one is immune to injuries. The elites get them. Masters get them. Beginners get them. Anyone – and it sucks for everyone too, so that’s why we all have to make the best of it!

    • “i know almost too well!” <---- haha...so funny in the 'it's not really haha funny' way...but i think we all feel like that when we're in the midst of cross-training...hehe. 🙂

  4. oh god, its so true. Usually I can at least cross-train, but if I’m starved for endorphins….ooh no good, don’t get near me haha. I like to tell myself that I will always come back stronger and smarter after injury – and I really do jump on the opportunity to learn!

    • haha…i can see the newsheadlines now: band of disgruntled injured runners run amok on the city…if u thought the fear of King Kong was bad…. 😉

I’m on month 2 of Runner’s Knee rehabbing. PT, no running, taking it easy. IT SUCKS. Thankfully I can do some other activities but my brain and my heart need something else!!!
